Linda calls him her "wizard." Rompin' Ronnie Hawkins - the legendary rockabilly star who hails from Arkansas (friend of Bill Clinton and chicken king Don Tyson) who came to Canada in the '60s, married the beautiful Wanda, became our rock idol and helped shape the career of many a rock 'n roller. Ronnie is a cancer survivor who gave Linda a lot of support when her daughter, Skye battled cancer. To cheer Skye up, Ronnie's son Robin wrote a song "Skye Blue" for Linda's daughter, also a cancer survivor, and it was sang by the young, beautiful and talented Tara Macri, who ended up starring in Hair Spray on Broadway in New York City. The song is used in fundraising for Reach for the Skye, which raises money for The Hospital for Sick Children. Ronnie is now Skye's Godfather. "We love you Ronnie," says Skye. 
Rompin Ronnie with Linda and Lee. Linda, who loves all music (her mom teaches piano) and especially loves rock, is now trying to learn the drums. Says Ronnie: "If you master the drums, we're going on the road." Name of the band? Geritol Gypsies.
